Magical 3 lights

ISO: 100  f/8.0  shutter speed: 1/250

So we were discussing for ATPI and one of our thoughts was to do like this guy did in a video where he used 3 flashes for everything. I wanted to practice so I took an extra camera to be my subject, and 3 off camera flashes. I used master and slave, which was hard because they all have to be able to see each other. I really like this technique because it makes the subject really stand out and you can do this in daylight and overpower the sun with it which is so super cool. I had one flash to the right, one to the left, and one catty corner left above pointed down. It shows all the details a lot better and I really really like the how the lighting looks in it. I had a couple without people in the background walking but I actually like it with people back there. I am glad to have done this and we are using a similar technique for ATPI school portfolio team, just a little more advanced and with people. (I will blog about our practice shoot later) I was using a 7D and a 17-50mm lens zoomed at 33mm.
