Vidor Football Game

 ISO:400, aperature: 4.0, shutter speed: 1/500 of a second

This was taken at the Vidor Varsity football game, which was my first football game to shoot. It was very exciting. Since I don't know a lot about football, I was just taking pictures of the game and didn't really know who to watch when, so there were a lot of times I missed a really good play. I don't like the colors in this picture, it's almost like they are dull. I was glad the football was in this picture, but I wish it stood out more, it's kind of hard to see. This was shot with a 70-200mm lens.

Hannah had just showed me some stuff about taking pictures, since I missed photo boot camp. She let me take home her camera to practice. I was taking pictures of my mom, but she was trying to cook, so she didn't appreciate very much. So, I started taking pictures of random things, like this fruit bowl. I have always been a fan of fruit bowls for some strange reason. My ISO was set at 800, my aperture was 2.8, and my shutter speed was 1/100th of a second. I used a 17-50mm lens. I wish I would have been at a little different angle so the blurry part of the bowl in front of the apple was not there.

Watermelon Supper

This was taken at Watermelon Supper. I wanted to get a picture of someone getting their watermelon with everyone in the background blurry. I really wish I would have gotten a student as the main focus, and had been at a little different angle. I also wish that guy in the blue shirt wasn't there. I do like seeing all the watermelons in the background, though. My ISO was 400, aperture was 2.8, and shutter speed 1/2000 of a second. I used a 17-50mm lens.
